This is another one that just arrived with me, very similar to the other but it is a different coin. What grade do you think?

It looks steel-like and I don't see any frost. AU58?

AU58. why do all these coins you're posting have the same look. it really pushes me closer to all of these be cleaned in some manner. you just dont see that many different coins together that have the overall appearance. maybe chemically treated and a light wipe on all of the these

Yeah I'm unsure why they look so. Perhaps a really old cleaning of some kind like you say? I'll submit them to NGC and see if they details them.

I suspect that since they are all close in age, they most likely came out of an original collection. The toning, surfaces, etc. are all very close in nature and consistent between coins.

I like it! First thought without cheating was MS-63. A little cabinet rub holding it back from a higher grade.
