Hello all
I haven't been on this site in along time.
Lost my father to Covid. I have many wheat pennies some are mint mark S and trying to find the values. Unfortunately I haven't seem to find a good app that will not cost me an arm and leg.
Any suggestions?

Go to your Local coin shop (LCS) and get a Red Book, that should help give you an idea of values. It should be around $20 for one.

Searching Google for valuable Wheat cent Pennies shows a variety of listings - one that caught my eye is at https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/lin...penny-768219 that includes the key date coins. Part of the cent value will be its condition. If the Wheat cent penny is nice new shinny condition, it's value is higher. If you have nice shinny Wheat cent pennies, consider wearing cotton gloves when you go thru them looking for key dates. Have fun looking thru you coins.

If they're dated 1935 or later and aren't brand new, they won't be worth very much I'm afraid.

There are lots of no cost on-line price guides out there. You do need to be able to estimate the grade of the coins.

Try numismedia fair market value (FMV) in your browser to get started on one site.

Pretty darn correct valuations. I've seen the match CDN many times.

You can also pick out some of your best looking ones and post them up here, and we can help you out with grade.
Just post one coin per topic, so you can start as many as you need.

That Numismedia site BadThad linked is my go to for pricing.

For S-mint Lincoln's, the more valuable ones will be 1910-1916, 1920-1928 and 1931.
