I normally don't look too close at newer quarters but my kids gave me a new microscope for my birthday, and funny couldn't see this with naked eye. Can someone confirm this is true DDR?

Let me see if I have this straight. MD is caused when machine strikes the metal it slightly moves damaging coin? A true double die is actually the hub is made with error before even striking? It is hard to tell the difference. But lot of good info on link provided thank you Errers!
