These are seller images. I am considering making a bid. It looks pretty original with a nice patina to me. What do you all think? In a PCGS holder.

I'll say F-12.

Based on PCGS Photograde, I agree with a F12 (although I am far from an expert in these matters).

The S mint mark on your coin is far more distorted and worn than the Photograde samples. Since you are paying for the date/MM combo, I don't know if that factors into the price equation.

It's right on the border between VG-10 and F-12.

Seems unmolested and original. A provocative date that sells easily. If the price is right, snag it.

VG10 to F12. I think F12 is acceptable. The surfaces look original to the coin. There is a slight yellowish cast to the photos which is probably lighting. This is a nice circulated original coin and is a great choice for a more affordable example of the date and mintmark.

I like it!

since that year is known for decent strikes most of what we are seeing here is circulation wear. I'm with the others. F12. it is a pleasing original circulated coin with no issues to be seen. the price on these has recently moved up. I would expect it would continue

You all were right on, PCGS F-12. It ended up selling for $520, which was more than I was willing to pay right now.
