Thought this was different.
How the dies crack almost identical from 2 different years.

Could those 2 dies have been made at the same time but one wasn't used until the next year at a different mint?

I believe the similarities are just coincidental. The curve of the die crack on the C is different and it seems the crack is thicker near the rim on the 2005 than on the 2006.

They are dang near the same, but to quite. the larger lazy loop of the crack is a different shape.
A weak spot on the dies for those years I would say.

The two Die Cracks are very similar, just slightly different.

Thanks everyone.
Yes. They're really close but a little off.
Just thought how could a/those dies crack in the very close same looking location. Even the two running from the lower C to the A.

I read ( a long time ago) how the die's were made. But can't remember if they heat/treat a few together?

Could the dowel that the dies were made from have a weak area there/that side of the dowel?
