I have tried to duplicate my lighting setup from offshore. I am unable to find a 500 watt halogen that does not cook the camera.
I installed a three light track system above the camera and two goose neck lights from the sides. I can't reach the F8 I got with the halogen but the 360 watts I have of light will get me to F6.

Anyway here be my first attempt at high quality macro with this set up.

Feel free to comment and make suggestions.
Thank you for your time

I'm inclined to argue your belief that you need assistance.

You're getting sharply-focused (well, considering the subject...) 1400-pixel images of a Cent.

Don't worry about aperture. Just lengthen the exposure. If you're on a firm mount and a timed release, there's no reason why you can't go down to 1/4 or slower to accommodate the lesser lighting. Admittedly, I'm using different equipment, but I've never used more than 150w on a coin.

Indeed, noting that the background remains in decent focus, you could probably open the aperture a stop or two without losing the depth of field. That will add effective wattage to your lighting, at the same exposure.
