ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19112 Posts	Posted 08/21/2023 07:55 am Yes, post-strike damage. Rim received a horizontal/lateral hit and a portion was 'shoved' inward. Copper is a fairly soft metal and can be bent without breaking quite easily. It's only attached to the coin at the rim and isn't attached to the field.
