Don't know about this being a MAD strike without seeing full coin images of both sides, however, the images you posted show MD on the profile.

Yes MD rather than MAD, so Machine Doubling rather than a mis-aligned die. Lots of jargon to remember!

That's Machine Doubling, not a Misaligned Die. A Misaligned Die would be off center on one side.
