2014 D Mint Nickel Error Or Intentional

There's a lot strange about this coin. . I'm finding about a handful of other ppl posting about this exact issue with their knockel. The eyes do not match put in comparison with a normal 2014 dmint nickel. There are scratches but a completely smooth and flat surface it looks as though it's bled throu the nickel onto the reverse side. What do u guys think

Given the posted pics, I'm seeing post-strike damage. Imagine the coin being stuck under a heavy pallet and then 'slid around' on a semi-smooth concrete floor for a short while. The coin didn't leave the striking chamber in this condition.

Looks sanded. Someone was going to repurpose that nickel for something, maybe a hobo nickel.
