Would this be considered a multiple event? Under the "L" and "B" and above the "T".. Thes BIES haunt me! I have zip lock bags of them and all I really want is to find a ms-67 in this date. So much harder than finding a BIE

Yes tons of die chips on cents in this date range. As it appears that both the letter L and I have die chips, it might be best considered a "ILII".

Oh my Lord yes! and the RPMS as well. Now that I have gone through countless rolls it seems that the 40's and 50's Lincolns seem to be more cherry red on average and when toned just about all colors of the rainbow come out. I also find more coins that have a chartreuse color ( although I don't find many it's still way more than the 60's). It's enjoyable when every coin from a tube maybe something totally different! So addicting!
