I found this in a $100 Dollar Box. Please give me your grading opinions. Proof?

It can't be a proof because in 1995 a proof coin would have the "S" mint mark.

It sure does look to be in great condition though

Not sure from the photo but as noted it is not a Proof. If it has not been polished, it is fantastic condition. Appears to be one of thoes coins people polish for the fun of it though.

I don't think it was polished at all. Under a magnifying glass the surface is spotless even without fine brush marks.

Once every 20 or so rolls of nickels I'll pull a 90's nickel like that. Just a combination of (I think) nice new polished dies and an above average planchet. Then it somehow manages to avoid being beaten to a pulp in circulation.
