Hello all, I'm wondering whether the anomalies on this 1919 Wheat cent are due to a strike through or simply PMD. And if it does seem like a strike through, any idea what it might be (eg another coin?). Thanks to all with better eyes and knowledge who can help!

Agreed - PMD and circulation wear
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Agree with Hondo here, PMD. I do not see any struck through symptoms.

My personal opinion —

The mark across Lincoln's head looks like a recent staple scratch, since it looks like fresh metal that's not been exposed long enough to tone or darken like the rest of the coin.

What looks like missing metal above the RTY in liberty is possibly a lamination peel. If not, it's old damage.

The rest looks like old damage.
