Just had a look at the video for the "Celestial Circle" puzzle coin (on the Mint web site). I was surprised by how thin the coin is and its corresponding low relief. A bit disappointed to see so little engraving on the reverses of the puzzle's pieces.

Can anyone report on its "in-hand" appearance?

What do you think of the 1oz silver coin series selling the toonie, loonie, 50cent, etc for. $109?

Great post! I've been following the RCM releases for the past few years and definitely think they're pumping out the same stuff year over year. What are your thoughts on the 1oz silver 6 coin series? They're releasing the loonie, toonie, 50cent, etc for $109 each. Not too bad of a markup.

I'm also seeing the UHR silver maple from 2022 selling for a $189. It was sold by the mint at $135. Too much at $189?

What's everyone leaning towards with the new king effigy which I can only imagine coming out next year. I'm sure the mint will release an animal, landscape, history, and silver maple at least. Are there any solid themes you think will sell fast?

I'm not generally a fan of coins commemorating other coins, especially when they don't match size and/or composition. So, this series is a non-starter for me.

A fairly safe bet!

Almost regardless of theme, I would expect the first issues of 2024 with the new portrait to be good sellers.

The Master Club Renewed Silver Dollar - 150th Anniversary of the RCMP is still in stock more than a month after its release.

The popularity of the renewed silver dollar series have certainly fallen off the rails. I remember the days when it sold like hotcakes. Sometimes it sold out within hours or days after release. People were complaining they could not get a hold of it.

It is reflective of the NCLT hobbly's malaise right now. There is little demand for RCM coins.

For previous Master Club releases, a lot of customers were able to buy more than one coin, thus causing a rapid sellout. But with low demand for RCM coins and high re-selling costs, there is no point in buying more than one coin to complete your collection.
