It looks like I've GOT to buy another over-priced coin for my silver dollar collection. Curious on what it looks like.

Thanks New1954 for the heads up.

There are a few interesting coins in this release.

I like the puzzle coin set. However, at $160 per ounce, the price is high.

The hexagon coin is nice too. Nevertheless, with a high mintage (and a high price), I can comfortably wait for the Black Friday discount.

Still no sign of King Charles effigy.

The most impressive issue this month is the the aboriginal puzzle coin. But expensive at $1599.

The most redundant issue is the QEII 5 oz reign coin. Similar to the 5 oz QEII Coronation coin, there is little demand for these coins. At 2250 mintage, I will be surprised if they can sell half of that amount.

The mInt has jacked up mintages for all coins for the past year or two. Perhaps that is why you see so few sell-outs in the secondary market.

The MC renewed silver dollar 150th Anniversary of the RCMP: Gold plated horse and mountie dated 1873-2023 CANADA DOLLAR and on obverse gold plated Queen's head. I like it. Very clean looking and the final #9 in the Renewed dollar series.

Gosh, I just can't understand why these two are NOT on my want-list.
Maybe I can call the US Government and see if they can increase my Social Security payments a little more.

The Celestial Circle/Puzzle coin set is the first coin to be awaiting stock at RCM. Still available at CC&C.

They say coins are pieces of art. This coin certainly qualifies as a piece of art.

I think this coin is one of the best designed coins of the year.

2024 dated coins and no King Charles effigy yet.

The awaiting stock puzzle does look nice.

The MC renewed silver dollar 150th Anniversary of the RCMP is a max of 2 per customer. I like gold plating, but I don't think it looks as nice as the 1973. I'm sure the gold plating will look better in hand than the pictures from RCM.

RCM always had a very small allocation of puzzle coins, at least for the previous two sets.

So I assume the puzzle coin series is commissioned by CC&C.

The new releases are posted on the RCM website. More same old, same old.

Happy collecting everyone!

I've never seen the manure pile up so high on TSC Coin Show. S. Bromberg's lies (and co-host) were off the charts today:

Main lies: Celestial Circle Puzzle Coin sold out immediately at the mint, now selling for $1,000 above issue price. The truth is that (atm) most dealers are still trying to sell them at $1,599.99, and none have sold for over issue price. Lies over and over for 2 hours.

I do agree that's it's a beautiful piece, and would buy it for a reasonable price. $1,600 is ridiculous. I'd buy it for $1,300, but will not give S. Bromberg the extra $300.

Looks like YesOrNo is correct. S. Bromberg admitted that he commissioned the coin (in a round about way).

I saw the Coin Show replay and Steve Bromberg did not actually lie but did not tell the whole truth either about the Puzzle coin.

His said specificly it was selling for $1000 over issue price.and the co-host showed the ebay listing for the coin at $2799.

He also said the asking price was $1000 over issue price.

Both statements are technically correct. Of course he left out the
fact that none of them sold for that price.

He said the RCM sold out in minutes. While the coin did sold out at the RCM the minutes part is questionable. How he came up with minutes part is beyond me.

The biggest thing he left out is the fact the coin is widely available at other dealers at issue price. But then he is a salesman and his job is to sell as many coins through the TSC, not to represent other dealers.

Correct. Their statements are false. None have sold for over issue price. This is an "untruth" no matter how you look at it.

Co-host showed 2 ebay listings with asking prices $1,000 over issue price and claims that these are selling for $1,000 over issue. S. Bromberg knows that this is not true, but both hosts kept repeating this falsehood.

Yeah, I also watched the second hour of the show yesterday. I found the tactic of showing the $2700 price screenshot of a third-party reseller questionable and desperate. So I'm glad this coin wasn't sold out at TSC.

I admit this puzzle coin is stunning. But it's also a cash grabber for Mr. Bromberg.

Overall, I found the show entertaining and informative.
