Are you certain this is Arabic?

I'm having trouble making out any characters for establishing a date.

EDIT: The weight and diameter are very helpful to establish an ID.

Here's a site with an odd name thatt I've found very useful for finding a date for these types of coins.

Yes, it's Arabic - the "serif-tipped" writing style is very typical of the "Crusader-era" Arabic coins.

And Creounity and other date-converter websites don't help much with coins this old. They didn't use regular Arabic numerals to write the date back then; dates on coins were written out in Arabic in full (eg. "five and sixty and four hundred") until around AD 1200 or so, when they started using Arabic numerals.

Correction. I meant to write "Mahmud" rather than 'Muhammad' in my previous post. Nur al-Din Mahmud bin Zangi. I need coffee.
