Need Help With An 1880 S Morgan Dollar Strange Marking

I have an 1880 s mint Morgan dollar that has some clear doubling on the year but what I'm really curious about is theres a significant flat spot on the edge above the "bus". Is this some sort of error or from circulation? I have no clue what the coin is worth or its grade I will include pics to the best of my ability to show the mark Report this Post to the Staff
