Not sure if it is an error.
If it is, what is the name of the error type? At the reverse lower left corner it seems a piece of triangular planchet skin came out and folded over.

Perhaps a lamination that peeled up and got folded over?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

My thought was a lamination as well. It also looks harshly cleaned.
