This is a second one I've found which is in better condition than the other one I post back 8/2/22. Markers match on Obv. and of course Rev.

I'm not sure if it falls under a Die Attrition Error/ Peripheral Die Damage.
I checked error-ref.com.

Do you think maybe a thin peace of metal got wedged there staring up around
(A)and worked it's way down to (I) getting smaller over lapping until it's gone damaging the die?

It is hard to figure how it happened.
Probably won't happen but it'd be something if ran across one with less of those.
