Detector For Fake/Counterfeit Coins

09rich15 New Member United States 33 Posts	Posted 09/04/2023 1:47 pm Regarding counterfeit coins ---In the past, I have always relied on checking for proper weight and signs of casting. Nowadays, I seem to come across undetectable fakes and it seems one needs a metal discriminator to insure authenticity. So, I intend to purchase one and because they are so expensive, I'm afraid to buy one that doesn't meet my needs (mostly just coins and jewelry). Can anyone out there share their experience as to what make and model would be best suited for me.
