All I've got is the 4th ed (2004) Krause value: US$425. Hardly current, and doesn't list values for particular die numbers, though last I heard they didn't make much difference to the price.
Anyone with a current Coincraft to confirm?

My Coincraft is from 2000, so I know any values in there wouldn't help you.

I am the same as sap, I only have 2004 Krause.
Maybe take that value and add about 10-20% as a guide?

Congratulations Lim, I think that the Gothic Florin is a great looking coin. Hope you can supply some pictures of it when you receive it. Again great buy!

Hello Lim, I just checked in my Coins of Englands by SPink. The listing price shows GBP 250 in UNC for Die 50 (Not 51) THis is on page 390 under Item 3893 - Spinks doesn't show a die 51- That may be a typo- but obviously the coin is priced under current prices. You may also get more info on this coin going to Google- ask for British Coin Dealer index- Then click on the dealer at Ponefracts-- This dealer usually has a comprehensive price selling list. habiru001

Again great buy!

Will post picture of the coin when I receive it, in the meantime, here is a link to the auction... Have a Look The seller is a well known dealer from the "old school" and his gradings are always spot on. I have bought from him before and he has not dissappointed me in any way.

Coincraft Catalogue went out of print in 2000. The prices in the Coincraft catalogue were high though and the market has just caught up, so between now and next year Coincraft 2000 is probably spot on.

A hearty congratulation lim- A gothic grade in that grade is not easy to find. I spent about 4 years acquiring my Gothic Crown- At 79 I am seriously thinking of disposing of some of my Grt Brt coinages- They are quite pricy. Mine is also a beauty- AU+ I really think it is a proof that had some exposure- Anyway, This design is fascinating- It is my understanding that this design was done specifically for the Scots? Anyone else have info on that tid bit? Dewey
