Can anyone tell me if they have ever seen one of these before and what it is and it's value?

The E took hits from the East and West! That sheared the metal and left it looking like an I. You can still make out the shadow of the old E around the damage.

I know the result may seem improbable, but metal can be moved and distorted by a hit, and this is the only possible explanation.

Very odd.

Most of the damage must be imagiined here. The horizontal serifs of the E were erased and the upright pushed over intact. There is no other possible explanation.
