Congrats, I'm sure. Probably just me, but I don't understand this collecting field.

How do the grading fees compare to those for regular paper money?

Forgive my ignorance, but do they have enough value to warrant spending that kind of money on grading?

The cost was $22 each plus shipping for grading.

People ask good money for them on ebay, so if you're going to sell them and get grades 65 of higher you can double your money. I bought these at Disney when I was a kid for face value. So, I have $23 in each one now. I'm not interested in selling them, I'm just interested in preserving them. I love the heck out of these...reminds me of the good times with my family. Plus, I'm just a sucker for preserving the past...my house is full of the past...I mean full...lol.

I received a Japanese sword from a WWII vet. The sword was handmade and belonged to a Captain. The sword needed a good polish. I found the "best" traditional polisher in the US. That cost me $1100.00 to polish. He posted it on his Facebook page as he does with all his work. Most people mocked me for wasting my money on such a low value sword. They work was great...the value of the sword was less than the work. I know the history behind the sword, I know what battle it came from and who brought it back. I felt it needed to be preserved while in my care. That's what I do.

@One50: I commend and support your approach!

I also have a few of the DDs. I've always thought they did a great job with their designs and printing.
