Hi all. Just been offered this coin. The pictures are not mine they are from the guy that is wanting to sell. He's quite an elderly chap, I think that's why the pics are out of focus. Despite this, what's the general opinion? Real or not, price etc. I personally think it's ok, it's a shame he lives quite a way from me otherwise I could get it in hand. If I make him an offer and he accepted it I would travel and see it in person before any dosh was handed over.

Lousy photography notwithstanding, to my eye this example looks rather like a casting.

I won't be buying it in any case, the guy wants too much for it.
Thank you for the input though, always worth posting here for opinions when unsure of something.
