John1, what I am seeing is that the one cent appears to be hollowed out and outlined making it look strangely doubled. I posted two pictures, the one is the coin with the hollowed out look and the other is a normal coin. They look completely different.
The question was, what would cause this to look this way?
Someone said on this post that it could be a worn out die? I followed up with the question, is this common meaning are there a lot of these coins out there from the worn out die.

to the CCF The O on your coin looks like was struck through something. Usually it's grease or dirt and grime that buildup on the die. A Greaser as we call it is pretty common and doesn't command a premium until a lot more devices are involved.
