This is properly called a " Peace dollar", even thought that's Liberty on the obverse. Historically undervalued, they've appreciated nicely over the past few years.

Yours is a very good strike for this series (though most 1935s are).

Under all that tarnish is an AU coin. That facial scratch isn't enough to "detail" it, if you had it graded & slabbed by a TPG, but it does reduce the value. It's something I would bid $60 for (if it were slabbed and graded AU53), but some people might pay $75 or $80.

This is a pretty nice coin. I would also say AU. The scratch may details the coin though. While this coin would look nicer dipped, the scratch maybe more apparent. Value could be $45-$75. I would probably pass as it's way too dark for me.

I agree with the advice already given.

Will add that a lot of collectors do not enjoy the dark toning this coin has, so while it might not necessarily affect value it definitely would narrow the field of folks interested to purchase it.
