Dear friends,
Please help me to attribute the Sept. Severus Denarius
Laodicea Ad Mare.
Could it be attributed as RIC 469?
Obverse Legend: L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP VII
Reverse Legend: FORT REDVC
Fortuna, draped, standing left, holding rudder set on globe in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand

Previously, I made a mistake when I attributed the coin as L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP VII. Having studied the coin better, I saw that the reverse is from the rare series "SEVER" instead of "SEV". And perhaps now the correct attribution of the coin will be as follows:
Obverse Legend: L SEPT SEVER PERT AVG IMP VIII
Reverse Legend: FORT REDVC

A very nice find. I have a small collection (just over a dozen examples) of these long form SEVER, IMP VIII coins but do not have an example of Fortuna standing. I do have a couple with her seated but from different obverse dies.

Obv:- L SEPT SEVER P-ERT AVG IMP VI-II., Laureate head right
Rev:- FORT REDVC, Fortuna seated left holding rudder and cornucopia

Obv:- L SEPT SEVER PERT AVG IMP VIII, Laureate head right
Rev- FORTA EDVC or FORT REDVC (R corrected from A), Fortuna seated left holding rudder and cornucopia

I do have a coin from the same obverse die as yours though....

Obv:- L SEPT SEVER P-ERT AVG IMP VII-I, Laureate head right
Rev:- VICTOR AVG, Victoria standing right, left foot on globe?, holding shield with left hand, resting on knee, inscribing with right hand
Minted in Laodicea-ad-Mare.
Reference:- RIC 486 var. BMCRE pg. 113 var. Cohen 704 var.

Which I have die linked through the reverse to a different obverse die

Yes. I mentioned that die link in my post above and thus why I shared that coin.

Sorry, I didn't look at that statement. I paid more attention to the photos of your coins.

@maridvnvm - You are very observant! I would never have noticed this error.
So,I can attribute the coin as
Obverse Legend: L SEPT SEVER PERI (sic) AVG IMP VIII
Reverse Legend: FORT REDVC

I will add it to my records as

L SEPT SEVER P-ERI (sic) AVG IMP VII-I

these legends breaks will be important in my studies of these oddities....
