You can barely see the five in the date, unless you enlarge the picture. And then you can only see the outline of the five at best. Also, the model on the top edge begins to fade beginning at the U and the letter T is almost non-existent. The rim is strong, so I don't think this is normal wear and tear. Also, it doesn't look like someone did this with a tool. The damage could be from cleaning, but I'm thinking maybe there was some goo on the dye or something. Thoughts?
Unable to fully evaluate because your photos are overmagnified beyond the 800x800 pixels the board recommends. Please use a size of 800x800 or so because that tends to make a sharper image, and works with more equipment which allows more members to participate.
