Please take a look at the reverse of this 1995 P Washington quarter and tell me if you can identify the image above and to the left of the arrow tips being gripped by the Eagle.
I found a total of 13 coins from the 1990's with 5 different dates from the Philly mint with the exact same error. I have placed them in my album and have been researching the error but don't see anything identified as a known error for this group of dates. Most of the coins error can be seen without magnification while holding a light to the coin. I did post this coin in the Facebook Forums but got a bunch of likes and no replies. Any ideas of what is going on here?

Looks like a very minor Die Clash. It happens when the obverse and reverse die strike each other, without a planchet in between them. This causes the design to get transfer on the dies. https://www.error-ref.com/die_clash/

I assumed so...I appreciate your response. Is it more typical for the dies during the 1990's. I found 13 of these in like 20 minutes. Any collectors value? I kind of like them because I do not usually find clashes on a regular basis.

We would need an overlay for this one - I think it could just be a small die dent.

Dearborn , I have 13 just like it and do not know exactly how it would have clashed but I will play with it and see what I can do with an overlay.

Thank you Jbuck for your hospitality!

We have a guy here that is great t generating overlays. (Yokozuna), I'm hoping he can assemble one for you, But I don't think it is a clash, but rather a dent on the die.

Thanks Dearborn, I am playing around with the software you guys have and it seems easy enough just have to get used to it. I would like to see his renditions if he gets time.
