I'm hoping I'm right about those error. Definite letter doubling on the reverse (circled in blue) and I think a weak strike on the obverse.

Machine Doubling on the reverse. But it looks like it was struck through a die cap on the obverse, very cool find!

Not a DDR on the reverse. That's Machine Doubling. However, on the obverse, it was Struck Through a Late Stage Die Cap. Nice find. Did you find it CRH? http://www.error-ref.com/struck_thr...%20planchets.

The die cap blows the doubling out of the water! Excellent score, samiller513!

Wow! That's awesome! Yeah, I just got into coin collecting (relatively new adhd fixation at the moment) and I have about $600 in coins rolled up so ove been going through them. Got a bunch of Die Cud and slight off centers, but this one is the biggest error I've ever found actually. Worth getting graded?

In my opinion, not really. Just keep it unslabbed. It's probably worth like 30 to 35 dollars at most. Grading costs a lot of money and is only worth it, if the coin is worth like 150 dollars or more.

samiller513,

Very nice find. I would dip it in 100% pure acetone and put it in an Air-Tite capsule.

Awesome find! Not worth grading from a monetary standpoint, but still very rare to find in circulation. I've hunted a lot of coins and have never found one.
