at least MS65. I can see at MS66 because of the clean shoulder and lapel areas however color is hard to read due to glare. its either RB or RD. a few reverse rim nicks K7-K9

I bet the light is cutting through the patina and the coin is more brown. Still looks like a nice coin.

Otto. I understand you don't have the coin. that creates an issue in grading this coin. it could be anywhere between MS63 and 66 and the color could be RB or RD. we just can't tell as the lighting used is creating too much glare. the problem is the value of the coin then could be anywhere from $30 to over $100.

if the seller can't give you better photos with the overhead light/glare then you need to consider if its worth a shot. if the seller has a return policy your risk would be a lot less. what is the seller asking for the coin?

Thanks for your concern, panzaldi (and everyone else's comments). If I do bid on the coin it will definitely be for less than $30. I may be able to get it for closer to $20.

Didn't win. I think it went for $23. I wasn't aggressive about getting it because my purchases can get out of hand and I put on the brakes!! Thanks, panzaldi.

probably a good value but I agree. you need to set a max bid and not get caught up in going back and forth
