Good day, I recently acquired this Coin and can't understand why they would make a coin so small. It has major Die Deterioration and what looks to be some die cracks. hope they changed the die after this one
Rubenstein, is a tiny coin! Not sure why they were so small - 1/4 real was a fraction over 3¢. Probably because they were silver. And you're right about the Die Deterioration. But they were used until they literally broke.
