Second of two newps today, purchased from CCF member ShadowCreator. He suspected this coin of an old cleaning; if he's right, it's retoning quite nicely. I note hairlines on the obverse, but they do not form a pattern under magnification. I can't wait to get this one under axial lighting - the color really jumps out at you.

Note the extremely shattered reverse. There are also cracks radiating from the base on the obverse, and from the 3 to the arrow. This was a nice little bonus.

Nice pick up.....I was still considering this one when you jumped on it, & your pictures(as usual) make it look even better. Love those cracks on the reverse.

Yeah - The reverse die must have been pretty torn up by the time it got to this coin and if it's been cleaned, it must have been 100 years ago!
