Doesn't look like an offset error. Reverse pic please.

It's a misaligned overprint error. Is it worth keeping? If you like it. I wouldn't keep it because it looks like a minor error.

It's hard justifying keeping a $100 note for a minor error, especially on a circulated note Frank. Personally, I'd spend it.

Thanx Steve! I am not an error guy and I was waiting on your opinion before I did anything stupid.

I think Steve has said it right.

With inflation as it is,
you will loose money if you keep it.

Much better to get this sort of error on a $1 bill.

What is this? My opinion doesn't count? Just skip right over it? I see how it is.

Does your opinion count? Sure it does and you were correct in your assessment. But, Steve is very knowledgeable, has made many valued and worthwhile posts and has respected opinions when it comes to currency.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if an OP acknowledged Steve's opinion over mine, or other's opinions, posted in response to a question.

FWIW, I do take everyone's opinion into account. It just so happened that Steve confirmed my own thoughts.

Exactly.
My comment was collector-to-collector advice to one of my friends on this forum. Member @coolbreeze and I agreed that the note was most likely a spender, albeit for different reasons. No big deal.
