I have a roll of 1959 D pennies that appear to be uncirculated. inherited from Dad, been in a drawer for 42 years, they are in a brown paper roll marked "Standard Coin Wrapper" with a rolled edge on both ends. He was not a collector, nor am I, unsure why he would have even saved these, Can anyone help with possible value?

1959 was the first year of the new Lincoln Memorial reverse so people saved them. Check ebay sold prices for an idea what they may be worth.

Good advice. Suspect they're worth very little.

To CCF! I agree with Dearborn. Check them for errors and varieties.

If the edges are rolled-up, it's called an OBW (Original Bank Wrapped) roll. More valuable than a loose roll because it's essentially unsearched. Guesstimate $3-5 or so unopened.
