eBay nickel with cud

Mad Die clash 1983-P 5c listing

When I saw this nickel on ebay, it reminded me a lot of the die clash 1983-P listed in Strike It Rich. Jefferson is staring right at the Cud. I checked Mad Die Clashes, and the portion of Trust covered by the Cud is slightly different. However, there appear to be a bunch of little lines and odd things in the fields, especially on the reverse. I figure if a die clash generated the attributed Cud nickel, maybe a similar event cause a Cud in the same position on a different die.

I don't have any expertise in die clashes. Maybe this is a smoking deal for some CCF denizen with a sharp eye and the appropriate knowledge. Maybe it's just a 1983-P 5c with a big fat Cud. But I thought I would mention the coincidence, just in case it's the former and not the latter.

Adding pics from the ebay auction to preserve them here for posterity.

@brand, I'm not seeing a clash on the reverse. Where exactly are you seeing those "little lines and odd things in the fields"? Thx for clarifying!

Great example of a Cud,
Reminds me of CU-5c-983P-06 on http://cuds-on-coins.com/jefferson-...l-cuds-1983/

There were some raised bumps across from his lips. Could also be DD, although the DD on this die seemed much more like dense raindrops than separated bumps. Also some stuff in the field between Monticello and Five Cents. Could be scratches, nicks, dents. Like I said, I don't know much about die clashes, just giving the pros a heads up in case this coin is unusual.
