Hi guys,

I talk to several metal detector guys on youtube and one of them found a very interesting find. It was a coin pursue from an old Union soldier. I will put the videos in order so you guy can watch them. It was a nice find. I did not give them a hard time for the handling..

Hmmm - nothing better than VF-20, most with environmental damage. I used to be a metal detector, but I finally figured out I was really a coin collector that was discouraged at what 100 years in the ground can do to a coin. Never found anything that good though and most never will.
Rest in Peace

It might be a connection problem. I just checked the video links and they all were working fine for me. Youtube can have issues

Videos worked for me too. One problem I always wonder about is just how true many of the stories on that web site are even slightly true.

yep, no reason to doubt what I'm seeing.
I'm not sure anyone would devise such a drawn-out hoax.
(It was very interesting all the same)

It made me cringe each time he tapped the water off the coins on the edge of the bowl.....
