Its only for medals and silver rounds but its a HIGHLY scientific and very precise piece of mechanical equipment...It takes an expert to operate. Image: cheezyscale.jpg81.22 KB As I was supergluing the nickel to the counter-balance I couldn't help but think what wheezydog would say...Sorry wheezy.

Also, this thing gets way off over 2 ounces so I would not recommend this thing to weigh anything over that.

It's kind of off topic, but I also collect old medicine bottles. It kind of goes along with my profession. You'd be amazed what used to go into medicines before government regulation. This particular compound contains a significant amount of alcohol as well as ephedrine, morphine and codeine. Sure to cure whatever ails you!

Cool . When I bought my wife's engagement ring a few years ago I got the jeweler to throw in a digital scale for the amount I was paying ... no longer have the ring (or the wife!), but still have the scale .

I had a relative that was a doctor at the turn of the 20th century. Alot of my bottles are from around that time: I also had a relative that owned a pub around the same time: Fortunately my grandfather grew up during the depression and never threw anything away.
