Good day to all CCF member.

First, I would like to thank's to @bobby131313 (Forum Dad) for this great amazing site.

I have bought several coins via ebay. (is it allow to mention a name or brand?)
And one of them is 1943 Lincoln Steel Cent.

What I like to ask is, I see the lincoln have doubled on his eyes. Right under his original eyes.
Also 'T' from LIBERTY under the T.

And the date too.

I know the condition of this cent is not in the good condition. The scratch mark through LIBERTY ( I don't know is it PMD or something else).

But I thought I would be interesting if what I saw on this 1943 Lincoln Steel is not just my Pareidolia.

Anyway, here's the image of 1943 Lincoln (still on it's way).

Need assesment and opinion from all of you CCF fellow.
And thank you in advance.

There's a smooth trace line under 'IN GOD W'.

On the reverse I'm not sure the doubled on URIBUS and 'N' of ONE and CENT is PMD or Machine Doubling.

Have a good day,

Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter. The coin is rusty and will only get worse. Really hope you didn't pay much for it.

@solo, I don't disagree with @bobby's assessment of the condition, but to help you learn, here are links to the 25 known DDOs and 15 known DDRs for the 1943 P Cents:

Looking at these pics of known doubled dies will help you to understand which specific design elements are most often doubled.

The doubling on the reverse is Machine Doubling. The rest is a combination of damage and wear.

@Spence... I'm on the way to the site you've recommended.

What I love from this forum is we can hear a lot of information.

Too bad for the Lincoln condition. But I loved it. I'll keep it for educational purpose.

Thank you very much @Spence.
Have a good day
