I'm looking at a group of exonumia and somebody keeps bidding it up astronomically. I'm trying to figure out why. I see this (the picture is very fuzzy I apologize) and it seems to remind Mr of a British guinea? Any opinions? Thanks

BONUS: cab you see any reason/anything worth it to buy this for over 100 dollars? Thanks

Good question @cactus. Hopefully it isn't just shilling bidding by the seller. That mystery token doesn't look like gold to me though. Perhaps they are working on a date run of Chucky Cheese tokens and only need the 2002?

I think that coin/token might be a Victorian/Edwardian era toy coin - like a Lauer Imitation of a Sovereign type.
