The columns of the memorial have doubling in any light I put on it, even visible without significant magnification.

Have you seen this ? Is it common?

I believe it's part of the design, if I remember correctly.

You can look up any modern U.S. coin on PCGS and look through high resolution photographs of multiple coins.

There are door openings to the side of the columns (5 and 8) in front of Lincoln and more columns behind columns 1 and 12
