This turned up in a bulk lot and is completely outside my area of (limited) expertise. It measures about 13mm in diameter and a search through google images suggests possibly an Edward IV Irish penny (or fraction thereof). Total guess though.
Has it been clipped almost into oblivion, or were they made this way, with almost no inscription around the periphery?
Any guidance appreciated.

I can see traces of lettering at 1h on the first pic, so probably...

I'd be surprised if it could be identified.

The quatrefoil on the reverse and the key to the right of the king tell you it's from York. I think to the left of the king is a G (Archbishop Neville, 1465-70. S 2062/3). Like this https://www.sovr.co.uk/products/edw...ille-gm25178
