Here is my next coin I've been looking over. This coin has a heavy wear to it, not sure if this would cause the denticles to be non-existent. I appreciate your thoughts and guidance. Weight: 13.1 grams Edited by RazorsEdge 10/15/2023 1:08 pm

Looks like PCGS report about 20 different varieties for the 1836 50 C, so the "1" might not match perfectly to the example you provided and the referenced picture. However, to me it does not look far off and could be simply due to the flattening of the numbers through wear.
Agree with Coinfrog, heavily worn and cleaned, but otherwise not fake.

Genuine with heavy wear and cleaning. These used to sell for about $20 each in such condition. Today it should be higher but I wouldn't pay more than that for it.

Genuine. A ~$60 coin surprisingly, didn't check the variety. I was outbid on a garbage 50+ count lot of bust halves by over 2x and the winner still made good money.
Suffering from bust half fever. Want to learn how to attribute early half dollars by die variety? Click Here: http://goccf.com/t/434955Shoot me a PM if you are looking to sell bust halves.

Thanks for the info folks!
Being new to this I never now what to write of as average wear and tear. The #1 and the lack of denticles on both sides were throwing me off on this.
I really do appreciate your feedback.
On to my next coin.
