Rear of coin. Embedded print. Not a magician coin, no seams. I will try to get thickness and diameter when I go to the garage and get calipers, I don't have a way to weigh it.

Jasper62, I looked a few up. That's exactly what it looks like. I guess I should have it graded or appraised?

I would get a few more opinions before you send it off. if somebody could share this with coop or Mike Diamond would be great. I'm going with full brockage unless it's deemed fake

Jasper62, it was also one of the ones I dug up as a kid. I'm going to try to get by a different coin shop today. Taking a 1857 cent and Indian Head cents with me.

On the "normal" side that Rim Fin that goes all the way around is a bit odd don't you think. John1

Well coin shop deemed it an oddity. They said the rim looks weird but didn't know who would spend that much time trying to make it. Guess it's probably a fake and throw it in a separate bag.

Yes, these images are much better, thanks. Not the full ' Rim Fin' bothers me - I have never seen one circumvent the entire coin before. The lighting is another issue. One the "Front" image the light is coming in from the right, and the light from "rear of the coin" is coming in from the Left. Can you get us a mirror image? Hold the coin in front of a mirror and take a picture so both sides can be seen at the same time in the same picture. Please?

This post was a little a confusing, but what your saying is, There is a regular obverse on one side and a mirrored obverse on the other side. I've never seen a Magicians coin quite done like that. Keep it as a curiosity no doubt!

to the CCF The OP is saying the obverse is normal, and the reverse is mirrored or backwards. As jasper62 posted, a full brockage. The only thing that bothers me is that the coat has a few differences between the normal and reversed image. If it is a full brockage, it's worth some bucks.

Yeah, I hope it turns out to be a legitimate Brockage coin! Great learning experience for me at least.

I'm hoping that the OP will provide a mirror image of both sides.
