Picked this up at about melt at the OCT 2023 Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists show yesterday.

Trying to soak the haze spots off but it does not look hopeful. I was surprised at how carelessly the dealer handled it when getting it out of the display case, and the fact he actually asked me if I wanted it in a flip or not.

Good thing I'm not too picky.

Plumcrazy, unfortunately there is no way to remove milk spots such as on your coin. That is why you got that Britannia for melt.

I will be happy with a circulating denomination set of Canadian, British and Australian coins.
They will never be worth more than face value, but that is OK.

I ordered a Charles Coronation Britannia. It looked beautiful when it arrived. I placed the Britannia in an Air-Tite right away. However, in less than a month it developed milk spots. I also purchased 50 non-Coronation Britannias for stacking at the same time. Now, because of the possibility of milk spots on these coins I will never buy them again. I also fear that I will never be able to get any of my premium back on these coins should they get milk spots. I should have stuck with my usual approach to stacking silver where I get generic, low premium coins. Lesson learned.
