Just managed to negotiate a purchase on this and I think it will get slabbed eventually. Would love to know members views on grade.

Looks roughly AU to me, although as always it's tough to judge the grade from a couple pictures. There looks to be remarkably little for contact marks so perhaps it's poorly struck and a higher grade. It also looks very dull in those pictures though so you'd have to tell us about lustre to help out with grading. The flatness of the pictures suggests it's been dipped to within an inch of it's life and there may be very little or no lustre left to it, but that could easily just be lighting and angle. So your range is anywhere from EF to MS depending on how it actually looks in hand. I know, not very helpful! I still fall on it being AU if it has lustre. Not an expert on Newfy coinage at all, so probably smarter folks than I will chime in. :)

Very heavy dipping resulting in the dullness. Wear (minor) in the hair and eybrow. I'd say XF+ to AU

au50 to ms62, but I would wager on au50 or 55.

Hard to tell from those photos. Quite good detail suggests that it could well be AU but the surfaces have that dull look that suggests something that's been dipped to the point where the surfaces have suffered. Would appreciate photos at higher mag, better lighting.

The obverse picture shows some rim damage and wear. I agree with Okiecoiner, XF to AU50
