Sharks Pillar of the Community Canada 1761 Posts	Posted 10/26/2023 12:45 pm I am surprised that there has been no mention nor comment on the new Jean Paul Riopelle toonie. To my mind both the coloured and non-coloured image reverses are quite imaginative. However, they do not appear to be up to the standard of the 2023 National Indigenous Peoples Day toonie. I now see it is listed by the RCM as a circulating coin: "Jean Paul Riopelle Celebrate Riopelle's boundless creativity with the 2023 commemorative $2 circulation coin—an iconic tribute to an illustrious Canadian artist in honour of the 100#7511;#688; anniversary of his birth."
