Did the Mint change the release date of the silver proof set? I could've worn they were to be released on the 15th, but after not seeing charges on my card, I checked the schedule again and now see they are scheduled for late June. I was hoping to get that third enrollment shipment for free shipping.

They have changed the schedule a few times for more than a few things.

All that I have left are the Silver Proof Set, the Uncirculated Set. the proof and uncirculated Silver Eagles and the two Innovation Dollar proof sets. Already purchased were the half dollar and dollar commemoratives in uncirculated and proof as well as the three coin proof set for the Greatest Generation, the two Quarter proof sets, the regular proof set, the US Army silver medal, the silver eagle proof from West Point and a three roll set of Maria Tallchief quarters. That is actually quite enough. I do not collect the Morgan and Peace dollars or any gold (other than the one in the three coin set).

Quote: I do not collect the Morgan and Peace dollars I think I can safely say that I have my quota of the new Morgan and Peace dollars.

Just got email notification to verify account info for the uncirculated set subscription. Schedule now says Aug 29, 2024 instead of Aug 28—at least that is what I have listed in the 2024 goals topic.

Yeah got that email too. Hmmm... $29 for $5.82 face. Yikes. May just drop to one set.

I still think it is a good deal. I can spend >$24 of my time just trying to get them from circulation.

I'm getting this year's UNC set as it is the birth year for my grandson; did the same for his sister in 2021. Otherwise, I'm not a subscriber. Not a fan of the blister pack card format.

Quote: Not a fan of the blister pack card format. Neither am I, but it does not matter to me since the coins are liberated and moved to the appropriate Dansco album. It is the only reason why I buy them. I used to fill them from circulation, but cashless commerce made it increasingly difficult. When they offered the W cents in 2019, I finally jumped on the uncirculated set train and never looked back.

And I RARELY make a cash transaction these days so this is by far the best way to get a set. Quote: I used to fill them from circulation, but cashless commerce made it increasingly difficult. And these are likely to be in better condition than most coins you'll find from circulation, even if they're right out of a roll.
