Yes very different, the only thing I can see is maybe a hit moved metal on the lower leg, I say this because it has a shine to it on the end. Also a very small die chip at the top loop?

I agree with oddguy on this. The horizontal leg on the 2 is short looking to begin with and a hit appears to have shortened it more.

I believe there is a something else besides PMD and over polishing involved with the "2" on the dates of Bill Kerr's and my coin. Any other thoughts?
