not sure whats going on with the green discoloration on the shield and the bottom of the boulder. I'm going with AU50ish. if it grades straight then you made a good buy

What's going on in the right obverse field with all those scratches and lighter color? Is the green PVC damage?

I had success in the past treating green on the surface of the shield in a 1845 LSD last year. Hoping that I can have the same success with this coin. We'll have to wait and see.
