So a very long ago my father worked at a grocery store and opened up a new package of $1.00 bills. Noticed that there was a misprint and pulled the the one before and after the error. I have been looking around for some guidance but I have not seen any thing like this. So any of the old and wise paper people feedback would be greatly appreciated. I had them graded several years ago and set them aside.

Can't generalize about paper money grades by looking at pics. For one thing, we don't have images of the reverses.

Good for your dad by keeping the before and after note. A lot of collectors like having the notes bookending the error. An Fr.1619 is a very popular and plentiful Silver Certificate. The misalignment error is considered moderate, and in AU condition is valued at around $300 to $350. Together with the bookends I would guess the trio is worth $350 to $400. Make sure they're kept together, and thanks for sharing.

Didn't think that would matter any with the information on the front of these. Why does it make any difference?

Thank you for the direction since I have so little to go on I didn't know where else to turn.

IF by some wild chance there is any other avenue that someone can suggest to help learn a little bit more about these bill please let me know here or by PM. Sincerity Tim D

The reverse is very important to the grading company when assigning a numerical grade and determining the quallity of the paper.

I think Steve's thoughts on value are quite realistic.
